Back when I was 4, all I wanted to do was wear Wellington boots and stand around looking at farm machinery (especially tractors) with a serious expression fixed on my face. A lot of my friends at the time had aspirations to be astronauts, super heroes and famous wrestlers. Not me - I just wanted to drive tractors, and look dead serious whilst doing it. Somehow the in-between years blurred my dreams and aspirations of following the rural life as I ended up going to university instead of agricultural college; playing with cameras instead of combines; and developing a sense of humour, instead of feelings for my cousin.

Having realised that qualifications, pretension and the ability to add binary don't result in the most exciting of lifestyles, I'm on a mission to connect back with my original dream - to drive that goddamn tractor, and as I do so, to look like the most shit-hard bastard this side of Fergus's turnip field.
